DR. ANTHONY RICCI, DC, CCRD, CSCS
Dr. Ricci grew up in Toms River, New Jersey and spent his time at the Jersey Shore where his family owned boardwalk concessions in Seaside Heights. He was a 1980 graduate from Ranney Prep where he was a multi-sport athlete. His main sport was basketball in which he was inducted into the hall of fame after scoring 1000 points in three years.
He then went on to play basketball at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelors degree in Biology graduating Cum Laude in 1984. After herniating a disc in his neck from a car accident, Dr. Ricci saw multiple physicians with no relief until he found a fantastic chiropractor who turned his health around. He then made the decision to attend chiropractic school.
Dr. Ricci went on to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College in 1990 graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning the only Senior Internship granted to his class. Dr. Ricci earned Board Certification in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation from the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board in 2000. He also received certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2000 from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Dr. Ricci is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Maryland Chiropractic Association. From 1994-2004 Dr. Ricci was appointed as the Maryland Representative for the ACA Council of Physiological Therapeutics and Rehabilitation. Dr. Ricci is certified as a TPI level one from the Titleist Performance Institute. Dr. Ricci was named the supervisory Chiropractor for the Maryland Chiropractic Association Chiropractic Assistants Program from 1995-2005.
While at Life Chiropractic College Dr. Ricci studied multiple techniques in order to provide the most individualized care to his patients. He regularly uses Diversified Full-Spine, Motion Palpation, Toggle Recoil Technique, Sacro-Occipital Technique, and Cox-Flexion Distraction. Dr. Ricci is passionate about providing Chiropractic care to athletes and families to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.
Dr. Ricci resides in Millersville, Maryland where he spends his free-time with his four daughters. He coaches women’s lacrosse with his daughters and has had the pleasure of watching all of them play at the high school and collegiate level. He is an avid golfer and loves the beach.
DR. TINA RICCI, DC
Dr. Tina grew up in Severna Park, Maryland and was a 2016 graduate from Severna Park High School. She finished in the top 10% of her class while being a member of the two-time state championship lacrosse team, a member of the Brine National Team, and an IWLCA Academic All-American.
She received her Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from Campbell University where she played Division I lacrosse. She graduated from Campbell University in 2019 with a 4.0 GPA and was awarded Outstanding Kinesiology Student of the Year. She then followed in her parents’ footsteps and went to Life University to study Chiropractic, where both of her parent’s graduated from in 1990.
Dr. Tina balanced earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic with serving as the captain of the women’s lacrosse team. She was named Newcomer of the Year for the Life University athletic department in her first season from 2019-2020 and was the first student athlete from Life University to receive the honor of first-team CoSIDA Academic All-American. She was named first team NAIA All-American, National Offensive Player of the week and first-team All-Conference for the Mid-South Conference. With her background in college athletics, coaching, and kinesiology, Dr. Tina realized she had a true passion for working with athletes to enhance athletic performance and improve recovery.
While at Life University, Tina graduated as the Valedictorian of her class in December of 2022. She took interest in several Chiropractic techniques and clubs including Webster Technique, Motion Palpation, Diversified Full-Spine, Toggle Recoil Technique, Torque Release Technique, Sacro-Occipital Technique, and Cox-Flexion Distraction. After growing up in a Chiropractic family, she found her passion for providing Chiropractic care to the entire family with a special focus on prenatal and pediatric populations. Dr. Tina is excited to provide Chiropractic care to families at all stages of life to help them progress towards their health and wellness goals.
Dr. Tina resides in Millersville, Maryland and spends her free-time with family and friends. She enjoys weightlifting, coaching lacrosse, and playing golf. She loves listening to country music, traveling, and going to the beach.
